Christmas is officially here! Ideal Home Show celebrates its first festive event
We’ve now made the full transition into the festive season and for the first time in it’s 103 year history, the Ideal Home Show launched their very exciting Christmas event today at London’s Earls Court running until Sunday 20th November 2011.
Santa’s little helpers, show ambassadors Gino D’Acampo,(right) Gizzi Erskine (centre) and Laurence Llewelyn Bowen (left) switched on the lights for the UK’s largest real indoor Christmas tree, measuring at 15m high and 7m wide, and officially cut the ribbon to open Earls Court’s doors to an expected crowd of 70,000 over the next 5 days.
Couch will be bringing you a great selection of quirky interiors, interesting designers, top gift ideas and hopefully catching up with some celebs! So keep an eye out!
The grand opening also saw a Live Military Marching Band to commemorate the show’s charity partner, The Soldier’s Charity and the event’s Ideal Homes for Heroes appeal, now in its third year which has raised more than £230,000 to date helping over 300 soldiers and their families make their house a home.
